The project will unravel Bath’s overlooked colonial connections by exploring the following set of research questions:
- How are Bath’s green spaces involved in global networks originating in the history of colonisation and empire?
- How can green spaces be made more inclusive through everyday practices including walking, arts-based Co-Creation and knowledge sharing about plants?
- How can communities currently overlooked as knowledge producers be destigmatised and included in knowledge sharing?
- How can diverse communities be involved in a genuine, bottom-up reshaping of Bath’s memoryscape as equal partners?
- How is Bath in Somerset is linked to Bath in Jamaica, a town also known for their thermal source and botanical garden?
